New MININEPHPLUS™ with Freelite™ serum free light chain assays
Binding Site has launched its new MININEPHPLUS, a small stylish semi-automated nephelometer, together with Freelite serum free light chain assays (recommended by International Myeloma Working Group guidelines for diagnosis, prognosis and when monitoring patients with monoclonal gammopathies). The exclusive combination of Freelite and MININEPHPLUS will enable laboratories with small Freelite workloads to provide results for this essential assay quickly and easily.
MININEPHPLUS:
- easy to use, with simple on-screen instructions in several languages and assay specific magnetic swipe cards containing pre-programmed calibration curves
- automatic assay blanking and reagent mixing ensures consistent results
- pre-programmed integrated single button pipette improves precision
- automatic antigen excess check for Freelite assays plus automatic calculation of sample results gives users confidence in the system's accuracy
- a light and portable analyser
Additional serum protein assays including IgG, IgA, IgM, IgG subclasses, Rheumatoid Factor and C Reactive Protein will be available on the MININEPHPLUS during 2010.
